As the tech giants compete in launching flagship phones, Samsung launches a very affordable alternative packing many goodies (features) in it. The Galaxy J6 is a cheaper version of Galaxy A6, which is already an alternative to the Galaxy S9 flagship.
After the leaked press renders pictures of the handset, Samsung announced that Galaxy J6 would be launched in Europe on the 21st of May and has plans to release the model in India the very next day.
The mobile caught the attention of many as it was rumored that it would feature an Infinity display. And, YES! It is confirmed that it will come with a tall 5.6” Super AMOLED Infinity Display. The front still shows larger bezels as compared to the edge-to-edge screen culture.
Another feature which would make the smartphone stand out amongst many is that it would be featuring Dolby Atmos Studio, which many high-end devices like the Galaxy Note 8 lack. It would also feature facial recognition. Both these high-end features have been made available by Samsung in the low-end models through software-based functionality rather than hardware.
The Galaxy J6 Specifications are very close to that of A6 but the price is expected to be cheaper. The specs revealed that the phone would be having a 5.6″ Super AMOLED display (probably of 720p resolution) and is powered by an Exynos 7870 chipset. Is that a pattern or do you see glimpses of A-6’s twin?
The RAM capacities would have variations having 2, 3 and 4 GB; while the built-in storage is either 32 GB or 64 GB with an additional microSD Slot.
The Galaxy J6 will feature a single 13 MP f/1.9, 28mm camera on the rear with the fingerprint sensor right beneath it, and an 8 MP camera on the front.
Additional specs include a 3,000 mAh battery to be charged over micro USB along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and dual-SIM telephone.
So, all you money-savers out there!! The Galaxy J6 would be soon available in Pakistan after its launch in India. What do you think about this mini flagship alternative? might save you many and still give you performance.
