“Nokia’s launches its first capacitive touchscreen phone, the Nokia X6” – yes, that was a big deal which dates back to 2010. Nokia has now relaunched the ancestral model revamped with all of today’s high-tech super powers.
The phone has changed all appearances having an extra ordinary premium feel with some really good hardware specifications light on the wallet fitting in the mid-range.
The old X6 was Nokia’s first capacitive touchscreen phone and similarly the new X6 brings the first notch to the Nokia family. Yes, you read that right, Nokia finally adopted the notch giving the handset a high-end feel. The frame is metal and a design which is 95% glass. Nokia is Offering the X6 in Black, Blue and Silver.
Incorporating a screen with FHD+ resolution found in expensive phone the Nokia offers a large 5.8” panel having 80.3% screen-to-body ratio with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Nokia opted for 16 mega pixel cameras for the front and rear of the device. The rear dual cameras offer a 16 MP featuring f/2.0, with giro-EIS and 5 MP. While the front facing camera is 16 MP with f/2.0.
Performance and Storage:
The device will be smoothly running Oreo 8.1 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 chip under the hood housing powerful Kryo cores. The variant with 64Gb built in storage will be having 4 and 6 GB of RAM while the 32 GB storage variant will have 4 GB of RAM. The device promises to be super-fast and fluid.
The Nokia X6 comes with Non-removable Li-Ion 3060 mAh battery, which with software optimization is expected to easily last a full day while handling all the work.
Nokia X6’s price in Pakistan will be around PKR 34,000 remaining in the mid ranges and being an affordable device. Nokia X6’s first sale on the 21st of May lasted for only around 10 seconds and was sold out. The next sale is expected to be held on the 30th of May.
Nokia fans would be delighted to afford a high-tech, premium looking and fast Nokia x6 for half the notched priced phones.
